Our Hideaway Helper Lockdown Shade is simple, fast, and effective. Made with high-quality blackout fabric, the Hideaway classroom door window shade includes a weighted hem-bar for complete coverage throughout the entire duration of an emergency. The Hideaway Helper is fire retardant (NFPA 701 compliant), customizable, and easy to install.
While not in use, the shade can be rolled up and secured in place with its Velcro tab. Therefore, it will be out of the way throughout a normal school day. However, in the case of an emergency, the shade quickly deploys with a swift tug on the Velcro tab. The shade is unrolled, remaining in place until rolled into its former position. An extension strap is available for quick deployment over windows located in high or hard to reach places.

TeacherLock™ is one of the quickest door barricades on the market, compliant with International Building Code, ADA, and NFPA Life Safety guidelines. This classroom door lock option is cost-effective, easy to install, and bullyproof. Therefore, only individuals with the activator can trigger the lock.
The bolting mechanism can be deployed within seconds. Additionally, the easy-to-orient activator prevents teachers from having to bend over or kneel to floor level to activate.

Similar to its sister product in many ways, the TeacherLock™ II is designed for states that require a single operation to unlock and open the door in a fire emergency.
Emergency Supplies
In the unfortunate event of an emergency, preparation is critical. In additional to lockdown shades and a door barricade system, safety protocol requires lockdown and first aid kits. Our emergency supply kits include resources to fulfil basic restroom, first aid station, or water faucet needs. Lockdown supply sets help nonprofit facilities be prepared in the event of a prolonged lockdown emergency.
